A family argument in the U.S. Ohio State has finished in the shooting deaths of eight people, including an 11-year-old and two others injured, authorities said.
One person shot five people in one place, and then two more were killed before the police about the attacker killed on Sunday, Police Chief Michael Mier said WKYC-TV.
The shooting occurred in a neighborhood tree-lined residential old houses out of Akron, Copley Township officials said. The neighborhood was blocked by police on Sunday afternoon.
Jeff Kirby near Norton said he was visiting his mother's house a block from the shooting mid-morning when he heard the shots - about 15 shots with more pauses between them.
Kirby, 53, said the last he heard the shooting occurred at about the same time he heard sirens in the neighborhood.
